The Cider Tap - Taproom | Cider | Private Hire Events Space by the the award winning team behind Wobblegate Cider

We are on the lookout for enthusiastic, energetic and hard working Bar / Waiting Staff to be part of our dream team!

Our taproom, bottle shop and garden is open weekly Thursday, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, every weekend throughout the year. It is the home to Wobblegate Juices and Ciders . Our aim is to guide people through the world of apples, through our awesome juices and ciders plus others from around the world. Plus craft beers, and wines. Plus pizzas from the epic The Safari Pizza Company.

We have an awesome event space 'THE CIDERY' where we hold Private Hire parties, events and tours throughout the year.

MUST BE OVER 18 TO SELL ALCOHOL, AND ABLE TO DRIVE OR BE DRIVEN TO OUR RURAL LOCATION!

The roll will include:-

Bar service

Glass collection

Shop service

General running (Keeping all areas clean, stocked up and tickety boo)

Table service

Provide an A Class experience to our guests

Taking orders and payments

Opening and closing (When experienced)

Who we are looking for:-

• A cool, reliable and well mannered positive can do attitude
• Resourceful and used to using their own initiative
• Some experience would be helpful
• Someone who loves cider would be ideal, A huge fan of our drinks would be awesome, ultimately you need to interested in and passionate about the drinks you are serving.
• We’re located on a farm, with no public transport links, you would have to have your own transport or be able to arrange lifts!
• You’ll be required to offer Excellent Customer Service
• You definitely need to have Good communication skills
• There’s no I in team! Team players only
• Ability to work under pressure during busy times, and proactiveness to keep busy in the quieter ones

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £10.00-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week

The Cider Tap - Taproom | Cider | Private Hire Events Space by the the award winning team behind Wobblegate Cider

We are looking for a Taproom Supervisor/Shift Leader to join our friendly taproom team. Our taproom is the frontline of our cidery and business, and is spearheading the craft cider revolution in Sussex!  This job will appeal to a candidate who is thirsty to learn about all aspects of managing the taproom with potential growth and progression within the company. The ideal candidate will have experience as a supervisor level in hospitality or similar environment.

DUTIES

In addition to those referenced for bar and Waiting staff position:-

 Share the responsibility with GM to lead shifts at taproom from Thursday - Sunday by following the open/close procedures
- Maintaining a standard of excellent customer service and setting an example for the team
- Understand the POS System
- Assist the GM in running our existing events such as private hires, Cider festivals etc.
- Maintain all bar, cellar equipment and other equipment of the business

- Staff rota and shift management
- Covers all duties of GM on their absence

REQUIREMENTS

- Good understanding and demonstrable passion for craft ciders & beers
- Ideally have management experience in hospitality, preferred in bars and similar environment
- Hard worker, flexible, creative and always have the desire to explore new opportunities and new ideas

JOB TYPE

Permanent, 25-30 hours per week £12 - £14 per hour
